Costello Syndrome Family Network organizes a conference every other year to gather families, caregivers, scientists, researchers and doctors under one roof to share, learn and discuss the latest information on Costello syndrome. The conference is a great networking opportunity and a time to meet new friends and catch up with old ones! This conference will be held Wednesday, July 19 through Sunday, July 23, 2023. Plan to arrive by Tuesday, July 18 and begin the conference on Wednesday morning! The conference will end early on Sunday.

You may reserve a room with one King bed that will accommodate a rollaway bed (limited supply) or two Queen beds (no rollaway permitted) at the rate of $159/night + tax (currently 15.75%). Other rooms are available at a higher cost on the booking site. This rate starts on Sunday, July 16, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Rates will be valid until June 18, 2023, or until our block of rooms is booked. The conference starts on Wednesday, July 19 so you may want to arrive on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, or maybe add a few days before or after the conference to explore the Denver area and the Rocky Mountains. For those who need accessible rooms, you will want to book ASAP.

CSFN is offering two different scholarships for the 2023 conference in Denver. Families may apply for both scholarships but will only be eligible to receive one scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded as long as funds are available. Complete information including qualifications and directions on how to submit the applications is included with each form. Applications and their contents will remain confidential.
Camp Ras Policy & Registration CS Lounge Registration & Consent Form
The registration fee is the same whether you attend the conference for one day or for the entire conference. Everyone who plans to attend any sessions and/or eat any meals at the conference must register.

Camp Ras
Professional childcare will be available for children affected by Costello syndrome and their siblings ages 1-17 years by July 19, 2023. Camp Ras cannot accept children under 12 months of age. Childcare is specifically provided so adults may attend the medical lectures on Thursday and the family workshops on Saturday morning. To utilize child care, you are expected to attend these sessions; it is also important that we be able to find you should an issue arise in Camp Ras with your child. Please note that children are not permitted in the meeting rooms in consideration of the attendees. Parents will be responsible for administering medicines and/or tube feedings. The $70 per child registration fee covers both days and is non-refundable.

CS Lounge
The Costello Lounge for adults with Costello syndrome who are at least 18 years old by July 19, 2023, will be open this year all day Thursday and Saturday morning. Lara Weeks, who has volunteered as the CS Lounge Director for the past 4 conferences, will be returning. YAY! Parents and caregivers will be asked to volunteer 2-3 hours while it is open. We cannot provide one-on-one care in the CS Lounge.
The $50 per adult registration fee covers both days and is non-refundable.

First-Time Attendee Scholarships (Must Submit by May 20, 2023)
A limited number of scholarships are available to help with conference costs, made possible by the Makenzie Belanger Scholarship Fund and the Virginia Proud Scholarship Fund.
NEW! Extra Help Travel Scholarships (Must Submit by May 20, 2023)
The Nicholas Spinnell Fund will make available a limited number of scholarships to help with travel expenses (flights/fuel).
- Up to three per family for parents/caregivers, individuals with Costello syndrome, and siblings
- Reimburses for the cost of regular airfare up to $200 per person or fuel
- Receipts must be presented
- Checks will be available for pickup at the conference
- This applies to North American Travel only
- Must attend the full conference, Wednesday afternoon – Saturday night
CS Ambassador Award and CS Sibling Champion Award (Must submit by May 1, 2023)
CSFN would like to recognize those who raise awareness and those who support individuals with Costello syndrome. You are the only ones who can make this happen by sending in nominations! Winners will be announced at the conference. See the Nomination Form for more details..
- The Costello Syndrome Ambassador Award Nominees should be individuals with Costello syndrome who raise awareness about Costello syndrome and show everyone the possibilities.
- The Sibling Champion Award Nominees should be siblings of individuals with Costello syndrome who support their sibling and show the world how wonderful their brother or sister with Costello syndrome is.
